Give us your current website and most of it comes across on its own. You check everything behind a holding page, and your old site stays up until you switch.

In the guided set-up, give us your current web address. We read your home page and main pages and bring across:

  • your wording
  • your services
  • your contact details: phone, email, address and opening hours
  • your photos.

We sort it into your new site for you to check. Nothing is invented: facts come from your own pages and what you tell us. Where you have gaps, AI drafts wording for you to approve.

Your customer list

Export it from your old system as a file and add it to Myobos. Each customer becomes one record, matched on their email address.

Your team and their hours

Add each person in Staff & hours with their working week and the services they do.

Your prices, if your old site doesn't show them

Your trade's starting services arrive hidden at £0, ready to price.

Your forms, if you use them

Rebuild them from a template in Forms & records.

Take as long as you need: your site stays behind a holding page until you press Go live.

/ Keeping your domain

You keep your domain. Choose one of two ways:

  • Point it at Myobos. Keep your current host and point www at sites.myobos.app with a CNAME record. Your email and other records stay where they are.
  • Move your name servers to us. We copy your current records for you to check, so your email keeps working. Then you manage DNS in the admin, and we can add your email records for you.

Your old site stays live until you make the change. When you do, your Myobos site becomes your main address.

Questions

Will my old site go down while I set up?

No. Your new site is built behind a holding page. Your old site stays live until you point your domain at Myobos.

Will my customers have to sign up again?

No. Add your customer list and each customer has a record from day one.

Do I lose my email when I move my domain?

No. If you move your name servers, we copy your current records for you to check, including the ones for your email. If you only point www at us, your email isn't touched.

What about bookings already in my old system?

Bring forward the ones still to come, and keep your old system for history until you're settled.
